My hope lies in communities where the problems of persistent racism are acknowledged and there is a concerted effort to use the month, and hopefully every month, to continue to grow into the promises our founding documents contain. It is time to take a strong stand. Sometimes it is difficult to see how I am complicit in supporting systems I abhor. Your book, "The Hidden Roots of White Supremacy: And the Path to a Shared American Future," is very helpful.
